COWLEYCowley's in WiltshireIf anyone can help me, I am trying to get a photo for my Uncle of his grandfather and grandmother, Uncle and Great Uncle's graves all in Bath Road Cemetery, Cricklade. Hubert Weston William Cowley and his wife Mary are buried in grave number J.474 in a double depth grave. Russell Cowley died in 1928 and is buried in grave J475 and Arthur Cowley died in 1933 and is buried in grave L570. All of the graves are on the right hand side as you walk through the gates but the headstones have all been laid down or so I have been informed. I currently live in New Zealand so can't get there to take any photos. ANy assistance would be greatly appreciated.

TURNERHELEN TURNERI am writing to say a huge thank you for all the wonderful work you do. I put out a request for a photo of my mum's gravesite, as i now live abroad and can no longer visit. A wonderful volunteer called Michelle got in touch with me, and supplied me with not one but six lovely photos!! This means so much to me. Having the photos now means that i am able in my own way to visit my mum's grave. Her kindness in undertaking my request touched my heart.

We can all do something to helpAfter receiving a few pictures of graves of distant relatives I decided to be come a volunteer in my local area and its become a very interesting hobby lots of Badly Decaying Gravestones and very modern gravestones not so much of a use now but I look at it as a foundation for the future people in 50- 100 years time look back and think I'm glad they took those pictures oh so long ago when they were new. So all I am asking is for you to spend a summers afternoon in the local grave yard snapping away

MASONMASON - WILLIAM LINLEYMy Father is a Canadian Merchant Navy Vetern of WW2. Somehow we ended up in our possesion a Mercantile Marine Medal - awarded to those who served at sea for at least six months, and on at least one voyage through a danger zone from WW1 era issued to William Linley Mason. Now I know the final resting place of another Hero.
