Thank you, Charles for the image of Mary Jane & John Jenkinson's gravestone. I had a Jenkinson ancestor who went to Spofforth to have her illegitimate child - I often wondered why there - and if she had relatives there or not. The names tally up - I will do some checking up and let you know if there is a connection.
