CURTISReally usefulRequested two pictures which were forwarded really quickly. Much appreciate that it is possible to get photographs of graves as not always possible to visit the cemeteries oneself. Look forward to looking for other family names.

MACKINNONAngus Iain MacKinnon, StaffinI visited my uncle's memorial at Staffin Clachan Cemetery many years ago when I lived in the southwest of England. I moved to the southwest of Scotland a couple of years ago and have mislaid the photographs I took of the stone. This resource has enabled me to retreive almost exact copies of my own photographs, which I will forward to my uncle's newborn great grandson in Australia as part of his memory box. Thank you to the volunteers who maintain GPR

BETTANEYThomas Bettaney died 1948I think Thomas Bettaney's father was George, a blind street musician from Stockport last heard of twice widowed, entirely dependent on charity and living with 10 yr old daughter Lucy in 1911. His daughter Mary was my great grandmother, died in childbirth 1908. My grandmother knew nothing about her maternal family and nobody would talk about them. If anybody knows anything about the family please get in touch!

WAUCHOPEDate of burialSt. Andrew Churchyard Dacre, Cumbria - Admiral Robert Wauchope. Monument No. 223 Image Name DSCN0484. The burial date of 1877 for this person is unfortunately incorrect. He died at Edinburgh on 14/6/1862 and I guess he was buried about the 20/6/1862 at St. Andrew Churchyard. The details for his wife Anne are correct. He was born 1789 at Niddrie, Midlothian, Scotland being one of at least 14 children. Regards, Quentin Green

FAIRWEATHERSo helofulI saw my grandparents' (Thomas and Susan Fairweather) headstones once as a child. On returning to the churchyard 35 years later it was so overgrown I couldn't find them. Having found these photographs they gave me the information I need to start tracing my ancestors.
