RAMPLINGMargaret RamplingMargaret Rampling (widow of William Rampling) who are both buried in the churchyard of St Michael Colchester was born in Peterborough in 1821 and died in Mile End Colchester in 1879 aged 58. Her maiden name was Scoffield.

I discovered the Gravestone Photographic Resource via an early enquiry into a Sawford relative on Ancestry, and have since learned that he died in 1891, and not 1957 as the gentleman in the photo. SIMPSONHeadstone search.I was looking for Robert Simpson, born 1805 in the Filey area. I know he lived in Hunmanby in 1855, was a fisherman, but couldn't find any death details. The gravestone I viewed was not connected. However I have used the site before and have been successful. Thank you.
