His father died recently and papers revealed details of his adoption at birth. The 2 ladies on this gravestone are my brother-in-law's Great Aunts, his biological Grandmother's younger sisters. Thank you so much for responding so quickly.

EYThank you!Re: Sarah Jane EY. Thank you so much for the photo of the EY family memorial. I have been researching the BRISTOW family for some time though mainly from the England end, but as Sarah Jane married into the EY family, this information will help me put together the South Australian part of the family tree. Much appreciate the time and effort taken to make all this information available. Thank you again!

I will now visit the grave of my Great Grandparents, which I didn't know existed - I only discovered who my Great Grandparent were very recently. When I retire, I will add to this resource by photographing and recording graves in cemeteries I visit. Thank you to whomever added my Great Grandparents headstone. John and Ann Briggs - nee Parnell

JACKSONmemorial in Hartfield ChurchI am full of praise for the vision, generosity of spirit and umpteen years of work that have gone into creating and running this wonderful information service. Its short cut to Henry Jackson's memorial is helpful to me because I am writing up a booklet for the Friends of Woodbury Park Cemetery Tunbridge Wells about the Hale family.. His widow Charlotte Cecilia had a life interest in Holly Hill and remained there for the next 40 years with her second husband Bernard Hale. He was among other things the barrister whose carefully documented legal opposition to Lord de la Warr's encroachments on Ashdown Forest led to the protected permanent access there enjoyed today by the public. There are Hale memorials in Holy Trinity Colemans Hatch and of course there are the Hale almshouses at Kidds Hill. Mostly due to trickle down from the wealth of HHJ. Bernard and Charlotte are buried in Woodbury Park Cemetery and we have just cleaned up their memorial there along with those of the other Hales buried there.

ROBERTSONHarry James Robertson (1871-1947) grave informationThe information given on the entry about my 1st cousin 3x removed Harry James Robertson's gravestone says that his daughter Marjorie Beatrice Robertson married a Percy Victor Sharpin but this is, I believe, a case of the wrong Marjorie. Harry's daughter Marjorie B. Robertson married Hugh Westing Lewell in 1933 (using the name Robertson so it appears that she was not previously married to Mr Sharpin or anyone else). I wonder if this could be corrected in case it leads anyone up the wrong path?

HOMEHome/McNeilieThank you so much for clearer access to your already excellent image. I am so pleased to have found what may be a possible link to my ancestors (my grandfather was George Francis Home). I've not investigated sufficiently to know whether this image will be an incidental red herring but am still grateful that people are making this valuable information available.

GIBBGravestone for great grandparents, James and Mary Gibb.My great grandmother travelled to Canada with two of her daughters in 1912. My grandfather, James Gibb passed away in Scotland in 1910 and my great grandmother Mary, travelled to Toronto with my grandmother, Elizabeth (aka Lizzie, Eliza) and my grandmothers sister, Ann. in 1912. I think my great grandfather is still buried in Scotland and his name was put on the gravestone for family reference purposes. Thank you very much for providing me with a copy of the gravestone in order to complete my photo record of my family's gravestone pictures.
