O'LEARYJust feedbackI wasn't until I downloaded the photo that I realised I already had it, and for some time (about November 2014). Would it be possible to change your website so that clicking on that tiny photo opens a slightly larger photo (about one third larger should do it). cheers - Graham

WATTSDear Charles, I congratulate you on a fiDear Charles, I congratulate you on a fine resource. I surveyed my village churchyard, Pettistree, in Suffolk to record the inscriptions but not with photos for even some recent ones are unreadable on a photo. I was able to reconstruct the image of all 205 memorials back to 1697, some with reference to earlier records. Where recognised I used the same font and spacing of the inscription in an outline of the memorial. Are you interested? Mike

SPARKHALLI am descended from my great, great, greI am descended from my great, great, great, great grandfather, Edward Sparkhall (1787-1861) and his wife Mary Hainford (1878-1857). There are at least two Edward Sparkhalls around at the same time in the same area (Norfolk), so care needs to be observed. I know quite a lot about the family, so any others with information or request will be welcome. It is not a very common name. I would like to express appreciation to Charles Sale for his excellent website and his speedy response when photos are requested.

FIDLERA GREAT BIG THANK YOUMany many thanks for the time and effort you have put into building this site. Thank you so much not just from me, but also from Steve Fidler on whose behalf I am doing family ancestry research. Having such a visual reference as a headstone, makes this whole project and journey so much more real for both of us. Came looking for his gt-gt-grandfather (Thomas Fidler), but found that the headstone carries details of gt-gt grandmother AND gt-gt-gt grandfather and other family relatives. Wishing you all every success for the future. Best wishes from Mike Thomas and Steve Fidler.
