MEALINGThank you for the image of Isaac and Betty RingroseMany thanks Charles for this image, with much new information on the maternal ancestors of the Mealings who sailed to Australia in 1854 to become pioneers in southern New South Wales. By the way your email with all its valuable links landed in my gmail spam box - it was 3 days there before I noticed it - I wonder if some of your unacknowledged emails to other researchers met the same fate. Thank you again.

SHEPHERDWonderful ServiceMany thanks indeed for allowing me to view the Shepherd/Onions memorial in St Mary & St Leonard Churchyard at Wombridge. I have only recently found the Shepherd line in my family tree from my maternal great grandmother Esther Shepherd born Tipton 1806 to Johne Schiphird born Perthshire 1540. For 200 years the Shepherds lived and worked in Shropshire mainly at Much Wenlock, Little Wenlock and Wombridge.

FREEMANFreeman/Procter/Rutter family linksFirst many thanks for the photo what a great service. I have wills for Jane Freeman and son Amos Freeman, but Joseph Freeman does not have one, Amos married a Jane and they had a daughter Eliza jane Freeman, her uncle was William Rutter. The will of John Procter of Ripon mentions Jane Freeman (Amos's Mother) as being his cousin, so what was Janes Maiden name? was she a Procter, a Rutter or what? John Procter was a cousin of brothers George Procter and Thomas Procter (my 3x great grandfather). Anyone Know Janes Maiden name?.

WILSONGravestone imagesThank you so much for the images you offer. It makes all the difference to be able to visualise an inscription and so much better than a simple listing of death in a genealogy website. I've been looking for details on the Boyd Wilson family as they are my distant cousins for my family tree, and you've helped me fill in few blanks. And created more blanks - but hey, that's the fun of genealogy!
