KETTLEWELLWonderful FindI want to thank Charles and all of the wonderful Volunteers who put so much time and energy into this wonderful site. I too stumbled on to this site, and so glad I did. The chance of ever seeing these gravestones in person is pretty slim, so to get a great quality photo is a bonus. I will continue looking now for more :) Thank you so much.

NOTTThank you for this valuable resource!Just want to thank you for providing this resource. Seeing pictures makes the family history come alive! I really appreciate being able to see in pictures what I will probably not be able to see in person. Also, having facts/photos helps support the information we put in genealogy data bases.

LODINGTONAnne Lodington & Rev John LodingtonMany thanks for sharing this information and for allowing free access to all our past ancestors. This is something that is quicky disappearing for profits. I really do appreciate the tireless work all you volunteers place into these documentations of past lives. Without the many hours given to these tasks, from many volunteers, ancestry research would die out and the mysteries and important facts of our ancestors would never be uncovered to become alive once more for our future families. Again many thanks and gratitude to all those history saving volunteers.

GPR is such a help as not only does it allow me to see the graves of family members at churchyards that I am unable to visit, it also makes finding the graves easier at the ones that I can get to. Your promptness in replying was also much appreciated. Thank you.

DOBSONHeadstone of John ThorpeThanks so much for the image. I believe the John Thorpe named on the bottom of this headstone was the husband of my 3rd cousin Elizabeth Cowham Dobson from Whitby, who was the youngest daughter of Isaac Dobson who was a fisherman/lifeboatman & lost his life in the Whitby Lifeboat Disaster of 1861. The image is for my own use in family history research. Thanks for providing this excellent resource!

BAILEYThank you for speedy responseThank you for the photo of W Bailey. This person is not a relative but part of a project that I am undertaking for Leicester Freemen. I am compiling information on Leicester Freemen men that served during WW1. Often there are no photos of men available, and sadly, sometimes the only photos that display a mans name are their gravestones. Non the less it adds to the life story of the man. Thank you again.
