FENTONEdwin William LineThank you so much for the image of Edwin's gravestone. There is so much useful information on these that cannot be found elsewhere, especially infants that were born and sadly died in between census dates. Many of the graveyards of my ancestors have been cleared and very little is recorded. Keep up the good work. Thanks again Martyn Berry

OXNETAn old man's thanksI have used the Gravestone Photos on a couple of occasions now and I just have to send my heartfelt thanks to all those involved in this project. My wife and I are now into our 70's and find it difficult to get about as we once used to. I have spent over 14 years researching our family trees and rely now mostly on the online services like Ancestry etc but I have found that the Gravestone Photos add that extra bit of information that brings to life (or should that be death)the person being researched. My sincere thanks again.

THOMPSONWonderful Gift to GenealogistsThank you, Charles, for helping those of us searching for our families. We are descended from Lucy Croft, daughter of Henry Thompson. Our daughter's middle name is Croft, so we are keeping the Croft tradition going in America. You are very kind to continue assisting far-flung families in remembering our ancestors. With sincere appreciation, Laurie

FOWLERGreat resourceDear Charles Many thanks for your great resources in photos of headstones etc. This has been most helpful because it explains the relationships far better than I had researched. With nearly everybody called John or Elizabeth it is easy to get confused. I have added some christening dates where I have been able to. With much appreciation, Rev

I appreciate the energy and time spent on your research as I am fully aware as I have been doing some of my family genealogy. It takes a lot of time and yet the interest of our ancestor's hardship surviving in conditions we can only imagine. BROWNFamily ResearchI have conducted Family tree research in different areas of the country for many, many years. Volunteers who look the records of burial sites and head stones play a very part in conservation both of the sites and records. It's also a help when a researcher has to travel a long way and no time is wasted. Having got the information strived for, in general people don't mind paying an amount in the box when visiting.

NUSSEYResponse to information Thank you for the prompt response to my request for a grave photo. It's good to know that there are people like you preserving the details on gravestones and memorials. There are so many that have been destroyed by the weather and I feel that seeing a stone is rather like viewing a photo of the person concerned. It makes them feel more real and means so much more than the documents, however useful, that can be found on sites like Ancestry. I'm interested in having a look at any other family gravestones available. What a pity people abuse your site.
