BLAKE | Lascells Blake | The photograph of the grave stone was a great help. It gave the death of Lascells second wife. Looking for her death, there was someone of the exact name years later, this confirmed the correct wife/death and saved the cost of obtaining the certificate. This is an amazing webpage, I really can't praise it enough. I will have to sift through all my family names and double check here. Wow, | 18/06/2016 | 5948 |

Edwin Jesse Kite married Alice Georgina Holemans (my Great grandmother's sister). My Nan, Alice Graham stayed with Alice and Eddie during WW2 for a few weeks during the first bombings.
I'm very happy to share information on the family that I know with others. So far this is the first I know of the Kite line. I have history on the Grahams, Holemans, Brownings that were in the mix of Eddie's in law family. | 16/06/2016 | 5937 |

BURGOYNE | It's all about the stories | I'm researching my husband's lines which lead back to the UK (so far). It always surprises me a little how much the stories touch my heart upon a new uncovery. GIBBS | Really appreciate all the time and effor | Really appreciate all the time and effort that has gone into photographing headstones. I didn't know where my ancestors were buried, and to see the headstone of my Great-Great Grandfather John Henry Gibbs, his wife Sarah, son John Henry and daughter Ada Jane has been a wonderful surprise. I live in New Zealand and am unlikely to get to visit in person. Although the headstone is lying down and the wording is difficult to read, the added comments that the younger John Henry drowned while swimming at Roker were appreciated.
Thank you. | 31/05/2016 | 5839 |
