NOTLEYEMILY & RICHARD NOTLEY - GravestonesI've been researching my ancestors in England. My aunt went over there in the 1960's and located the stones and wrote down what she saw. The marker I'm researching is for Emily Notley, my great grandfather's sister. The photo your organization sent me only shows one side of the marker According to my aunt, there is more information on the other side/s of the stone. One documents that Emily's son was killed in WWI and where he was buried. Also, Emily's daughter Mabel Emily; it documents that she was a Sister of a religious order of St. Mary's Baldslow. I would appreciate, if anyone has, or could obtain these photos for me for documentation in my ancestry research. I was thrilled to find this site and pictures. I had given up hope of ever being able to see my family's stones. Thank you

LEITHEADConfirmation of death of Dorothy LeitheadFinding confirmation of death of Dorothy Leithead is great because lots of the family trees on Ancestry have John marrying again in 1817. I can now discard this link to Jane Coxon. Further confirmation was found in the England & Wales, Non-Conformist and Non-Parochial Registers of the baptism of all the children some which were credited to Jane. WooHoo!! Many thanks for your assistance with this.

OLDREIVEGrave headstone for Walter and Susan OldreiveThank you , thank you so much, such a lovely surprise to find such kindness in helping people find photos and information on their family, my cousin abroad is going to be so happy as well, as will the other family members that he will send this photo over to, thank you so much again, made my day, iv got a few more to look out for, so exciting :0) just one other thing this is the second time iv tried to send this message, on the last photo image to stop spammers the death date didn't allow me to go back far enough, the dates were between 1959 to 1970 and i needed to go back much further back than that for the correct answer, just thought to let you know....

GIBBSReally appreciate all the time and efforReally appreciate all the time and effort that has gone into photographing headstones. I didn't know where my ancestors were buried, and to see the headstone of my Great-Great Grandfather John Henry Gibbs, his wife Sarah, son John Henry and daughter Ada Jane has been a wonderful surprise. I live in New Zealand and am unlikely to get to visit in person. Although the headstone is lying down and the wording is difficult to read, the added comments that the younger John Henry drowned while swimming at Roker were appreciated. Thank you.
