HOUSEGrave PhotoThank you for your email regarding access to grave photos on this website. Unfortunately I was unable to access the 'House' photo I requested, other than shown as a small photo on your website, and is unreadable. Perhaps the attachments for photos should be removed from your website if they are no longer viable to email? The work involved to enter all the names, dates and photos would have been a mammoth task and congratulate you all for your efforts. In answer to collecting information on my local cemetery. This has already been done with access via another website. .... more

Sale is another one of my maternal families - mostly from London and Wargrave-Wokingham areas, Berkshire England. Are you related, Chris, or is this just a coincidence? Thanks in advance. Kathryn

COKERWilliam CokerThank you Charles for the image of the tombstone of William Coker. I ASSUME it is the headstone of William born 1724 to John Coker and Margaret Evans and who was buried in 1799. As no date is legible, it is an assumption. The only other William I have found relevant to my family history is his son, born 1776 and died 1776. William was married? to a Sarah who appears on all the baptism records, but may not appear on this headstone. She died 1782 and was also buried at St Peter and St Paul, Fareham, Hampshire. A daughter, Elizabeth, of William and Sarah married a Jonathan Earle and both arrived in Sydney, Australia in 1804, where they received a land grant as free settlers producing food for the struggling colony.

STEADMANSTEADMAN/WEBB/CHANCEI was thrilled to find this website through Ancestry & it's free! I was able to find the gravestone of my gg grandfather William Chance and wife Julia Barris. Also in the same plot were two of their grandchildren Eva Chance Webb age 7 months and grandson Robert William Adam Webb. St.Laurence Church is nearby the Great Stone Inn on Church Lane in Northfield, Worsc. which was owned by William and Julia and later daughter Elizabeth and son in law Adam Webb from the early 1860's until after Adam's death in 1901. Julia's widowed mother Hannah Barris had also lived there until her death. I received a very quick response to my request and can't thank you enough. Nancy from Alaska
