DUNLOPAdam Dunlop Gravestone at Wick (Old Municipal Cemetery)Thankyou so much for the photo of Adam Dunlop's Gravestone (Wick) Adam was originally from Maybole, Ayrshire and a brother of my gt.gt grandfather Joseph. Joseph's daughter, Elizabeth, came to New Zealand and married Thomas Hall here in Dunedin, NZ. The Hall Family was originally from Clackmannanshire. Many of the cemeteries here in Dunedin have online databases and the Southern Cemetery where Elizabeth and Thomas are buried also has photos of the headstones. This is through the Dunedin City Council Cemeteries Database. Thanks again - great service. .... more

LEYBORNE-POPHAMAn invaluable resource for family historians!I have not had a chance to look in detail at this website and the resources it contains, but in just a few moments since finding it I have a photo of the gravestone of a possible (very distant) member of my family. Wow! Thank you so much for doing this. I am out of the UK at the moment and rely 100% on the internet and resources such as yours to further my family research, so the work you and others like you is invaluable to researchers like me who cannot wander down to the local cemetery at the weekend!! Keep up the good work, and thanks again.

HAYSearching for next of kin of F/sgt. Hugh Hay RCAF pilot 418Sq based, Ford England.Dear Sir/Mrs, I am searching for relatives of F/sgt Hugh Hay, KIA 26-07-1943 in Holland. I saw a picture if a memorial in Scotland and i wonder if anybody can help me finding his family. For years i lay flowers at the Commonwealth War Graves in Holland, near Amsterdam on the graves of F/sgt. Hay and F/O. Seymour. They crashed in a Mosquito of RCAF 418 squardon, after they took off from Base Ford in England for an intruder mission over Holland. On april 29th 2016 i will visit the grave of F/sgt Hugh Hay and his navigator F/O. John Seymour with the next of kin of F/O. John Seymour. Please could you assist me finding relatives of Hugh Hay and send me a picture of the memorial in Cartosh? With kind regards, Eduard IJsbrandij
