The details for the person named at the bottom of the stone, Richard Furneaux Weekes, were not clear on this image, as is often the case for such entries closest to the ground. The surname was correctly spelt CREES whereas her entry in the GRO Death Index is CRESS. In the Charlwood Burial register it was written CRESS but was then deleted and replaced by CRERS.
