MILLERThank you Charles! What a great resource to stumble upon :-). It can be very hard researching UK ancestors from the other side of the world, and to find this site that has photos on it as well is amazing. Thank you Charles for this awesome work, it is much appreciated.

CREESJohn & Frances CREES, St Nicholas's Churchyard, Charlwood, SurreyBeing able to read the inscription on my great grandparents' gravestone in St Nicholas's Churchyard, Charlwood was most helpful. The surname was correctly spelt CREES whereas her entry in the GRO Death Index is CRESS. In the Charlwood Burial register it was written CRESS but was then deleted and replaced by CRERS. Many thanks for providing the confirmation I was seeking. .... more

Kelsey W Lissaman died aged 90; Phyllis M Lissaman died aged 95. Happy to give you more detail if you need it. Thank you

SECKERThanksThank you for sending me the requested Headstone photo. After a couple of phone calls I managed to get information about the actual location of the grave. When I visit Burvale, I will happily take photo's of other grave stones and send them to you. I normally photograph headstones when I visit family graves in Kensal Green Cemetery, then I search for descendants on Ancestry to pass the photo on. I would volunteer to help your site but I can't commit to a regular flow. Anyway, once again, Thank YOu so much for the photo. Regards, Rose.

BRANDPhotograph of HeadstoneWhat a wonderful resource! I have been researching my family tree since 1995 but was not aware that this facility existed. My father was born in England and came to New Zealand when he was just 16 years old. I never had the opportunity to meet my grandparents (his parents) so I was amazed when I was able to download a photo of my grandmothers headstone. I cant thank you enough for that and hope I may be able to find more in due course. I am now looking at becoming a Volunteer photographer for my area. Thank you again Charles.

BAINBRIDGEThank youI am currently researching a branch of my husband's family tree and had got completely stuck. This resource has given me some new information that will enable me to pursue this particular line of the family a little further. Many thanks. If anyone else knows anything about the Bainbridge family of Lindale, please let me know. I believe Thomas Bainbridge, whose gravestone is listed in the resource, may be the grandfather of Jane Bainbridge of Lindael, who married a John Bell but I can't find her parents.
