Having a neurodegenerative medical condition I am totally wheelchair and housebound getting out to look round our many beautiful cemeteries for myself is no longer feasible. This web page has restored that ability to me and for that I am forever grateful. I had not anticipated the Greek columns and statues in a Jewish burial place, but they exhibited the extraordinary wealth of the family. Having read about Isabelle's marriage to Joseph in the diaries of her cousin Zinaida Poliakova, seeing a physical grave site made the stories all the more concrete and real. Your work is invaluable and much appreciated. Since I cannot travel to France at this time to visit the cemetery, this was the next best thing.
