GUYLEEGravestone image readible difficultyDear Sir, I wish to thank you so very much for sending to me ever so promptly the photo that I requested from The Banks Municipal Cemetery in Bingham, Nottinghamshire. I am referring to photo image BC CW 070; Grave Marker #465738 with Arthur Martin as the first person on the stone. The image that was sent is very lovely to have for our genealogical records especially since we live in Canada. However, I am wondering if the photographer of this stone has a written record of how the stone reads I would be forever grateful for that as well since the image is nearly impossible to read clearly the inscriptions for Arthur Martin, his wife; Elizabeth Martin, his daughter; Hannah Elizabeth Martin and his other daughter; Edith Whitley Guylee who is the ancestor that I am tracing. I am still delighted to have the photo of her final resting place but I would be very happy to know exactly what is written on the stone. The service that you provide to researchers like myself is phenomenal and it is a great asset to all of my fellow family historians alike. From the bottom of my heart, thank you very much for all the work that you do free of charge for us all.

Military Cemetery HoyThe entries for the cemetery in Hoy, Orkney Islands are listed as Navel Cemetery Lynes. The marker at the entry to the cemetery clearly shows that it is the Naval Cemetery Lyness. It would help to correct the listing so that persons looking for information can find it easily.

FREESTUNDisplaying entries for different spelling?Hi CharlesThis is a wonderful resource, and fantastic to find. Thank you so much. It's very disappointing that anyone would abuse such a website.I'm wondering why there are a lot of entries for my family 'Freestun' which are listed as Freeston. While there may be links and misspellings, if a gravestone says Freestun, could it not be listed as such.I expect this is a huge job, and would be happy helping you, by identifying gravestones incorrectly listed. .... more

FOLDSLooking for FoldsI am researching my family tree and would be very interested to make contact with anyone descended from Folds of the Kings Walden, Ley Green, Frogmore, Breachwood Green areas. Of specific interest are the Folds descended from John Folds 1741-1820, who came down from Burnley to work as a carpenter at Luton Hoo. He would be my 4 x Gt Grandfather and I am a descendent of his grandson Obadiah.

HAMONDHerbert Henry HammondThank you very much for a great service. I remember taking flowers to my grandfather's grave in Swilland churchyard with my grandmother more than 50 years ago. I have lived in the North West for many years, but I have often thought about going back. We are in Suffolk for a few days now and I was looking for Swilland Church on the internet when I discovered the link to your site. Within seconds an image of my grandfather's gravestone appeared on the screen. Yesterday we went to Swilland Church and saw the actual gravestone. I am sure we wouldn't have found it without your service.

FOSBERYCorrection to GPR dataWith the help of a photographic image I was able to locate the grave in Gunton St Peters Churchyard. I could then establish that the first name on the website data sheet was spelled incorrectly. Instead of Georgina Emily Adeline Fosbery (1885 - 1974) it should be Georgiana Adeline Fosbery. Many thanks to Gravestone Photographic Resource. BS .... more
