HARCOURTThank youI would like to express my sincere thanks for the work involved in creating and adding to this website. It is a great help for Family Tree research, where a number of members of the one family are listed together. The next time I go to a Cemetery I will endeavour to take photos to add to your site.

Good Day I took 63 photographs of gravesGood Day I took 63 photographs of gravestones at a small church last May on a trip to England. I have submitted my request to be a volunteer to upload or transfer these photos to the resource. I just wanted to let you know which church it was in case anyone is looking for it before I get my volunteer packet. It is Holy Cross Church. The location is Shipton On Cherwell with Thrupp in Oxfordshire. Thank you

FOWLIEThank you for the photographIt was wonderful to see a photo of my grandfather's grave. I was taken to see it as a child with my parents and grandmother. However on the original information there appeared to be other relatives on the gravestone who I was not familiar with but were not on the actual gravestone itself which is a bit of a mystery.

BLACKWELLEurekaVery many thanks to Charles and his website. I was able to track down a family member who had died in South Africa and also to discover some information unknown to me. So it has been invaluable. I passed this on to a relative who will now be visiting the headstone and making arrangements for it to be cleaned. It's an amazing free resource for which Charles deserves great praise and thanks.

SHEPHERDAlderman W.P.ShepherdThe above was the first labour councilor elected to Thornaby-on-Tees Town Council. He was a carpenter by trade and I believe at one time a trade union official. In the 1930s he became a full time political agent for the Labour Party in the Stockton-on-Tees Constituency. He was instrumental in the defeat of Harold Macmillan (later P.M.) in the 1945 Election seeing George Chetwynd returned to Westminster as the M.P. I am the oldest grandchild of the above couple who had two sons and five grandchildren.
