I am researching the WW1 fallen in Ware | I am researching the WW1 fallen in Ware Herts as it is the 100 year anniversary. I have a book Our Boys -Ware and it list I think maybe all the sad young men you have for Ware. I went to the cemetery as it just around the corner with the book and found many of the graves including WW2. One that stuck out was in a village up the road to ware High Cross. A man who was called Leake and he was in the Boer War and was a surgeon and managed to get into WW2 via France. He got A VC twice and I think there is only three people that have these. I think it is a fitting tribute to be able to do this.
