MASONRobert MasonThank you to the gravestone inscriptions volunteers - I have looked for Mason men from South Queensferry & noticed the age of Robert in the 1851 census was not inline with your record. His birth year there was recorded as 1796 & Helen was 1800. He does look to be too young for Helen with your date and I guess the stone was worn or weathered ?

CROSSA very valuable Family History ResourceThanks for your wonderful web site, it has helped to fill in so many gaps about which areas relatives spent their final years in, and confirms years of work my families. I really appreciate it. My mother in law was over the moon to see a photo of her grandparents gravestone which she hadn't been able to find for years, despite her knowing which large cemetery it was in. Thanks again for all your work and the excellent quality of the photographs.

AYRESJohn Ayres 1835-1908Thank you so much for your time and effort to photograph then post all the headstones. As a result I was able to determine the death date of john and his wife and know this is the correct one with the information of Albert Ayres. Albert was buried in France as a Canadian soldier as he and his family had immigrated to Canada. Thank you for allowing me to see the headstone.
