BIRDBug in the search page of websiteHi,I was using your search engine and trying to sort the many results by Country so I could see the Scottish results.I find that the Sort order for Country and Cemetery are wrongly coded and the url shows that these sorts are actually just returning sorted by Grave. It's an interesting website, such a pity it's not yet been possible to merge other people's hard work with yours as findagraveinscotlanddotcom has a lot more results for my search than your database.Regards, AndrewPS: The validation question below asks when Joseph Flintham died but the date range offered doesn't go up to 1905 so I assume it is supposed to read 'born'. .... more

BAMFIELDThanks Charles for the excellent and useThanks Charles for the excellent and useful image. I do have a couple of images of headstones but your site doesn't make it too clear whether you will accept just a single image or you want volunteers to take multiple images of entire cemetaries. Just a point that might help future potential contributors. Peter

BURWOODOld gravestoneThere are many Burwood gravestones in the churchyard, probably the oldest is against the north wall of the church. It is a flat stone and because of its age it is almost impossible to read. It dates back to 1698 and I have the inscription printed in the East Anglian Miscellany 1922, with a copy of this you can read the stone.

BROOKSThomas BrooksFirstly I am very happy to view to memorial of the grave to Thomas and Maria Brooks of Croxby. GEDDESPossible errors and info on monument of John GeddesThank you for providing me with photo of John Geddes monument in Canongate Kirk Cemetery - that is very generous of you to provide this facility! A few errors and amendments: 'James Geddes' was John Geddes's youngest son. He died in 1816 (not 1915) and was buried in Ireland. 'Daniel Geddes' should be David Geddes. He erected the monument, so this must have been added later. 'Matilda Faulds' must be Marion Geddes, née Faulds, wife of Adam Gordon Geddes. Madelina Hessing was the wife of John Geddes the younger.
