DE LACYMIRIAM DE LACYThis is in fact the headstone for John Gibbs husband of Edith Ellen Gibbs. It also commemorates their son Eustace de Lacy Gibbs (Sonnie) and his daughter Constance(Connie) and his mother-in-law Miriam de Lacy. Edith died in South Africa in 1961 aged 96.

COBBADA GRACIE COBBAda Gracie Cobb was the sister of Ethel Bruce and was added to her headstone because of their closeness. Her husband who died in 1952 was George Cobb. I expected to celebrate my 8th birthday with her in 1960 when she was expected to be 80. She was notorious over her age so it's difficult to be absolutely certain as to her age. Her daughter Audrey Ethel Cobb (married name Warren-Gash) was my mother. Nicholas Maxwell Warren-Gash.

DANIELCorrections to your image 069 at BuclkeshamYour comments are wrong. They should read:- full name bur.yr relationship William Daniel 92 1890 first name on mon. Sarah Ann Daniel 73 1875 wife of William Daniel Wm Catt Daniel 25 1853 their son Sarah Ann Daniel was née Catt as stated, but there should be no other mention of Catt as a surname on this entry.

photographs without permsissionWhilst I can see that this site may be a useful resource for people who are researching family history, I have to say that I was shocked and more than a little upset to find my parents' grave on the site. I came across the site and the image entirely by chance and, in all honesty, I feel quite angry and disappointed that someone can take a photograph of the headstone and then upload without relatives' permission .... more

MADIGANCompleteness of entriesThe record for North Sheen cemetry was recorded as being complete however I do not feel it is complete due to the lack of records of my relatives plus the large number of graves at North Sheen which are not reflected in the number of entries recorded. Aprart from that I believe this is a very useful project and thank you to the volunteers.
