DE LUCISGuido De LucisI am an old lady of 70, reminiscing among old photos of my youth. The pictures show me and my old fiancé Guido then 19 in Italy. I did expect him to be no longer with us and my husband Mario came across his name in your gravestone service. Your sharp picture settled any doubts and Guido will now rest im my memory and my prayers. Your prompt answer to an old woman who recalls her fantasies as a young girl is indeed appreciated. With kind regards Mariella (and Mario)

STEVENSONmy grandmotherHi. I have been looking for my grandmothers grave, I am told she was buried in Glasgow, at age 47, and died and was buried 1923. I have looked here for her but cannot find a record. Her name was Mary Allison Stevenson (Allison being her maiden and middle name). She was married to Archibald McNaught Stevenson who was killed in actions WW1 and as far as I know is buried in Gaza. She had 5 children Margaret, Bruce, John, Helen and William. Hope you can help me find her grave. Mary

photographs without permsissionWhilst I can see that this site may be a useful resource for people who are researching family history, I have to say that I was shocked and more than a little upset to find my parents' grave on the site. I came across the site and the image entirely by chance and, in all honesty, I feel quite angry and disappointed that someone can take a photograph of the headstone and then upload without relatives' permission .... more

MADIGANCompleteness of entriesThe record for North Sheen cemetry was recorded as being complete however I do not feel it is complete due to the lack of records of my relatives plus the large number of graves at North Sheen which are not reflected in the number of entries recorded. Aprart from that I believe this is a very useful project and thank you to the volunteers.

21/12/20133868
Many thanksI would just like to say a huge thank you to all involved in this site. I have located over 70 missing memorials for my North Devon families, which is absolutely brilliant. Thanks and Merry Christmas! Phil
