COOPERCOOPER/NEWMAN/SIMMONS/HOLLANDThanks for allowing quick access to several requested images. No one knows how long digital images will survive but having visited many cemeteries where monumental inscriptions have long since eroded away to leave blank headstones, it is vital that more and more photographs are taken to record the inscriptions now and show the current condition of headstones for future generations, especially as cemeteries fill up and controversially local authority councils in the U.K. are drawing up plans for plots to be reused.

GOODEGOODE/LUKE/THOMAS/WILLIAMSMany thanks for the prompt return of the gravestone image I was searching for. At the present time it looks like the details don't fit the people I was researching as they're buried far from their living base in Wales. Have kept the image though in case further details show they did move further afield. Julie

Church in ChristchurchMy Dean family relatives were born and raised in Christchurch Hampshire (now Dorset?) and my great grandmother passed away when in her early 30's. She had her children baptised at St.John the Baptist Church in Moordown, Bournemouth so I assume she would have also been buried there. After making the trip from Australia and visiting the graveyard it was impossible to know where to begin to find a memorial. I am just wondering if this church may be on your list of future projects or whether you can offer any advice how I may do research online (which has yielded nothing so far) Many thanks .... Kris

NICOLLTHE NICOLL FAMILY, ARBROATH, SCOTLANDAny information on this family, who lived in the St Vigeans area of Arbroath, will be much appreciated. My interest lies in the descendants of David and Bryce Nicoll (nee Barrie) and their children. I know of George Griffith, David, William and Frederick. I am not sure if there were any female siblings but it would be good to know if there were. Any help or gravestone photographs will be much appreciated.

Problem with Email AlertDear Charles Many thanks for the prompt dispatch of the photo I ordered for Joan SCOTT 's Grave Stone in Horne, Surrey. This has proven to be the grave of my 6th Grt Grandmother and has guided me to her previously unknown parents etc. Being disabled I am unable to travel to such places as all my ancestry seems to come from Kent, Surrey, Suffolk etc. which as I am sure you will know is a fair distance from Somerset. Having discovered your excellent service I am certain I can now complete a few glaring gaps in my Tree. Thank you once again. Sincerely Jim Scott PS. I am using your address as follows, but continuously get the message that follows. charles.sale@gravestonephotos.com The recipient's address can only contain letters (a-z or A-Z), numbers (0-9) and specific symbols (such as @). Please try again.

CLAYFORTHPhoto RequestsI would like to thank you for your prompt response enclosing links to gravestones that may help in my research of our family. The name Clayforth is an unusual one but I am having trouble backtracking as I do not have many close relatives left that can help. Therefore these images, plus any others you may have, could prove invaluable in my research. Thank you once again for your prompt response AND the setting up of this valuable research tool.

HARPERNot my Thomas HarperThank you. Very helpful. While Thomas Harper, father of Elizabeth, was not the Thomas I was looking for, thank you for putting up the photo of this memorial stone. Without it, I would not have been able to research what did not happened to my Thomas Harper. Mine was a Thomas, b in 1790 in Hunmanby. His parents had died by the time he was 9 and he seemed to have disappeared. I had suspected he had gone to live with a relative who may have lived in Rawdon. Not so apparently, but your site helped me immensely in eliminating clues as to what may have happened to the boy. Thank you. (I have added info about who it appears to me that the Thomas, Elizabeth, Charles & Isabella listed on the marker may have been)
