I was very interested to see that Margaret died in Clevedon, Somerset, where she must have gone after her husband John died, but was returned to Copgrove to be buried next to her husband. MOIRTOMBSTONE PHOTOThanks so much to Steve Lockwood for sending me a larger image of Peter & Margaret Moir's tombstone at E Grinstead. Scottish Peter became a pioneering coffee-planter in Ceylon in 1822 and was apparently the cousin of James Taylor from Laurencekirk, Scotland, who first experimented successfully with tea-planting in Ceylon.
