BOUGHAMRobert Buffham. It is so interesting to see the actual gravestone of my possible ancestor and not just his name on a list. I am attempting to go back another couple of generations to Sarah Bougham who died in 1816 and whose name is inscribed on a memorial ring which an aunt left to my cousin.

MORRIS AssistanceHello again, Although I am living in Mt Gambier, South Australia, I have retired from police work three years ago. Is there anything I would be able to achieve from here for your site in respect to photographing any particular family grave stones necessary for your ongoing Gravestone Photographic Resources. It is just an idea as I have plenty of time on my hand when not travelling around the place. Regards Wayne Morris.

DURRANDDURRAND/GUNNI have been researching my mother's family tree. She was the grand-daughter of James Durrand/Elizabeth Gunn from Wick and daughter of their son Charles. Was wondering if any of their descendants are interested in providing some family history. My mother and her siblings are now deceased and I am not acquainted with any other directly related Durrands. They lived in Glasgow. My mother immigrated to the US in 1961; where I presently reside. HANCOCKHANCOCK FAMILY RESEARCHDear Sir I have just requested an image of the grave of my Great grandparents (Sardius and Mary Hancock) as part of a family history project. I am also seeking the location (and image,if possible) of other members of my family, notably Dulcebella Sofia Hancock (nee Tharp) who died 1/2/1858 in Sturry, Canterbury, Kent. May I ask how extensive are your records? I have visited Sturry Parish Church (St Nicholas?), but can not locate her resting place. Charles Hancock (1821 - 1900), my Great great grandfather, is also buried at Sturry, together with his second wife, Mary. Dulcebella was his first wife. Any assistance would be much appreciated. Thank you.

HOBSONSt Michael and All Angels\' Church, HeadingleyI was hoping to find photos of gravestones for Faith Hobson, dau of Joseph of Woodhouse and Elizabeth Hobson (nee Wright), wife of Joseph of Woodhouse Lane. These are mentioned on the website for yorkshirecdbooks for Headingley, but not on GPR website. The Hobsons were stonemasons so there should have been at least one stone but may be illegible as Joseph was buried in 1830 and Faith and Elizabeth a little before that. I am trying to find the birth date and place of Joseph Hobson. If anyone can help in any way I would be really grateful.Chris

PHIPSONThank you! .... and further information if possibleHello Charles. Many thanks for providing such a speedy response to my request for an image of Thomas Lamb Phipson's gravestone. Images always help to bring my Family Tree 'to life'. Greatly appreciated! I have one query, about another gravestone, if you don't mind me asking. While researching another branch of my Family Tree, I discovered, to my horror, that the gravestones in Walthamstowe Cemetry in Essex have been very poorly cared for by the local council & most are missing, with the grave plots having been sold to other, unrelated members of the public! This featured a fews years ago in a newspaper article in the 'Observer' about Council neglect! So, Grave Number 3624A which contained the remains of 2 of my ancestors viz Emily (Wellington) Low (buried 1877) and Edgar Wellington Low,has now been resold to another family. What's more, they have no idea where my family's remains are now, and they say that the gravestone has just 'gone'! Shocking to me! Do you know any more about this particular Cemetry's way of handling things, or about how I can find out more about the people who were originally buried there & their headstones? How could they just 'disappear'?

HUXTABLEany information appreciatedI have been researching the family of my late grandmother edith mary (nee huxtable) horton who lived in barnstaple but had moved to swansea before her marriage. I know she was illegitimate and born to ellen huxtable (father not named on birth cert) on her marriage cert her father is listed as charles - but I know she was brought up y an aunt of hers (name unknown) there is confusion as her grandmother was also a Huxtable and was unarried at the time of her birth. I think that ellen married a james bament, any information appreciated - my grandmother died when I was only 2 and never spoke much about her childhood so I am told.

THOMPSONTHOMPSON/PANNETT/STREETERCan you tell me if the information you provide for a graveyard covers all of them in that particular church?
