WILTSHIREJoseph and Mariah WiltshireWhat a great idea and a spledid website its invaluable to family history research. Your view of my ancesters gravestone at St Denys Worcestershire prompted me to update the information and perhaps others who might be interested . Joseph was born in severn stoke in 1793 he was the church sexton for many years also his son John and daughter Fanny in later years, although the gravestone shows his wife as Mariah I believe her christian name was Hannah Mariah. Many thanks for your help.

BOLLINGTONThankyou so much!Just couldn't believe it when I found this site. It led me to my Grandmother and Grandfather's grave near Cannock, West Midlands. They both died young so I never knew them, but have been researching their lives. We visited last week and found it instantly. Will endeavour very soon to record our village church gravestones here in Tarrant Keynston, Dorset.

On his death certificate it just says skull injury but nothing more. Again, I do appreciate all your work. I did notice, however on the one page "The Men who died building the Fourth Bridge" they have his name as Hum Smith without the e.

PARKINWonderful Resource for Family Historians!I stumbled on this website by accident and am very impressed. Gravestones particularly are a great resource for family history and with so many graveyards being cleared it is very important to have a record of who was buried there. Keep up the good work !
