| WESTLEY | John Westley | I have just began to research my family tree and this image has already raised some interesting questions for me as I believed that John died in 1922. I think my next task is to discover if John did die in the war or was his name added posthumously if he died of war-related injuries.
I have found this website facinating and I'm sure that besides raing questions it will help me to answer may of the questions regarding my family background.
Best wishes
Alyson

| WARLAND | Unsure on details. | Many thanks for the image of Henry John Warland's gravestone that is situated in Brompton Cemetery. I'm not exactly sure that the details on the stone are referring to HJ Warlands death but those of his wife and child. We have details of him re-marrying and having several more children to his second wife. HJW was also a returned convict from Australia who was transported from the UK to Australia initially for life but this was commuted to 9 years and he was pardoned earlier than the passage of 9 years. | 07/09/2012 | 2809 |

| SEAMONS | THANK YOU FOR THE REALLY QUICK REPLY AND PICTURE | WHAT A WONDERFUL SERVICE YOU ARE PROVIDING TO PEOPLE WHO CAN\'T GET TO THE GRAVE YARDS TO VIEW THE MEMORIAL STONES OF THEIR ANCESTORS - I DON\'\'T HAVE ANY INFORMATION TO ADD TO THE WEBSITE AT THIS TIME BUT WILL BE PASSING ON THE VALUABLE RESEARCH TOOL TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY - THANK YOU - I CANNOT MATCH THE GRAVESTONE WITH MY COMMENT THOUGH.. COMMENT RELATES TO WILLIAM AND ELIZABETH SEAMONS AT LOWESTOFT - OH I JUST REALISED IT IS NOT TO MATCH MY FAMILY RESEARCH IT IS JUST SO THAT YOU GET VALIDATION. GUESS THAT COULD BE WHY OTHERS MAY NOT GIVE FEEDBACK AS THE SYSTEM REJECTS AND ADDS ALL SORTS OF SLASHES ETC TO THE TEXT ! | 04/09/2012 | 2804 |
