THOMPSON | THOMPSON/PANNETT/STREETER | Can you tell me if the information you provide for a graveyard covers all of them in that particular church? The reason I ask is that death records found for my own area indicate that more people of the same name may be interned there in which case I would need to visit personally in order to further my research. Kind regards and my thanks agin for information already provided. .... more | 24/04/2012 | 2523 |

ALMOND | Almond | Thank you so much for the grave of William Almond. This is an excellent resource. I have just spent two days pondering the image and after more research I have come to the conclusion that the date on the grave for Elizabeth Almond, wife of William, is wrong. She actually died in December 1869. I have found the parish record for her burial at St Peter's. She is on the 1861 census. I can only assume that her name was added later and either the family or the engravers got it wrong! I must take a trip to Morley to check it out. Thanks again for such a good service. | 06/04/2012 | 2475 |
MITCHELL | Thank you | Many thanks for the speedy reply of the photo. The photos are very clear making it much easier to read as the inscriptions can be very worn.
