TODDWonderful website!Stumbled across your website by accident and very glad I did. Thank you for the image, which has saved me a journey to Crieff, and confirmed an ancestor relationship. Might be an advantage to you to contact myheritage.com website (as this is where I have my family tree), as this would be an asset to others in tracing ancestors.

LANCASTERGeorge LancasterI would like to thank you for this brilliant service. The stated date of death has been misread from the gravestone due to wear. It should be 1848 - supported by the fact that the "main" occupant shown on the stone died 1839, so George who has been added to the gravestone later must have died after 1839. I already have him in my tree as being born 1831.

EWINGGPR 60031 This memorial has decayed badly in the last ten years. I have photos from ten years ago which show everything more clearly. Note this is GE's burial ground - but he himself is buried in Eastwood, Glasgow. He moved there after his first wife died, and she is the first name on the memorial (missing on your caption) "Anne Innes, spouse of Greville Ewing died 23 August 1795". Janet Jamieson was his second wife. Isabel Gray is indeed the wife of Alexander Ewing but NOT the mother of Greville Ewing: she is his step-mother, his mother having died. Jacobina Evans was a niece of Greville Ewing.

BINGHAMBINGHAM / LLOYD-WILLIAMSThank you for your efforts - after looking hard for something that seems to be nonexistent and almost giving up, it's a tremendous thrill to find it available -- and FREE!

WIGBYThanksAmazing! Researching a family story for a friend who has emigrated to Australia and through your wonderful website I have been able to send her a photo of her grandmother, gt grandfather and great aunts grave. Thank you so much from both of us! I have also been on the request for help page and promised help to a fellow in the US who is researching a family in my home town. All good news. I shall be visiting the site again without doubt and when the better weather comes will try to send you photos of graves in the local church here in York. Many thanks again for a wonderful website.

QUINTONVery grateful !Delighted to receive the photo entitled Charles Quinton. The name on the monument is partially obscured by vegetation, but if you look closely I think you will agree with me that the name of the deceased was James (not Charles). By way of confirmation the Bury & Norwich Post dated 20 December 1859 records this death as "at Elmswell, in the 81st year of his age, Mr. James Quinton"

04/02/20122297
EDWARDSBENJAMIN EDWARDSThank you so much for getting back to me so quickly. This stone did not turn out to be my grandfather's, Benjamin Edwards. I have you book marked now for further reference. You have been a great help, Charles!!

KNELLERMary Ann KnellerMany thanks for sending the image of Mary Ann Kneller's grave monument in Ash Cemetery. The date of death and her age shown on the image is the same as appears on the Ash burial record and the GRO Index but I'm afraid the absence of any further family information means that at present I am still unable to place her within a Kneller tree or suggest further data to add to your records. I am, however, very grateful to whoever took the photograph and to you for taking the time and effort to send me the image. If I do discover any further information about Mary Ann Kneller I shall certainly send it to you.

03/02/20122287
BARKERThank you for your helpThank you for the photo of my grandparent's grave. This will help us to locate the grave as we never knew exactly where they were buried and want to visit it to leave flowers. I never thought I would find this information on the internet and it is a wonderful link to the past.
