Unlisted graveIn front of the free-standing stone archway in the churchyard is a gravestone in patterned brick with the lettering "1895" at one end, "1915" at the other, and "RUTH" in the middle. This seems not to appear in your list. It seems to be connected with the archway, as the latter has the same sort of brick beneath it. Does anyone know who is buried here?

BUCK Raymond Walter Buck Charles has just sent me a pic of Robert William Buck's grave (St Mary's, Aldeby) and I noticed that there is another inscription. It is not easy to read but seems to be for Raymond Walter Buck (Robert's brother). From what I can make it out it says something about ...burns... explosion... at Lowestoft.... Possibly dated Feb 22nd 1917. I would be most grateful if anyone can tell me what it actually says. Many thanks.

WRIGLEYTimothy Wrigley died 23 April 1841I believe our Timothy is buried amongst many T. Wrigleys in one of the 3 huge cemeteries attached to St. Chads, Uppermill, Yorkshire. I hope one day that your organisation will photograph this cemetery. In 2001 the local TIC sold me copies of transcriptions of 2 of the 3 cemeteries. The third had not yet been transcribed, but I hope this has been rectified by now.

OVERTONOverton family linksI have been able to trace my father's side back a few generations. He was James Alan Overton, and his father was James Leonard Overton born 1880 in Grimsbury, Warkworth; and his father was James Haddon Overton born 1855 in Gayton, Norfolk; but his father was only James Overton, born about 1831 in Elsing, Norfolk - I THINK. He might be James Yaxley Overton, but he definitely married Martha Blogg. His father in turn may be another James Yaxley Overton. I have come across hints of this. I am striving to be sure of this last one and find the connections further back. My father told me we are descended from Robert Overton (1609-1679), one of Cromwell's Generals, but I'd love to be able to make the link (or not). My mother's side traces back to a John (Johannes) Johans (Dutch) who was born 9 April 1800, presumably in the Netherlands (maybe India), and died 15 Aug 1854 in India. I'd love to find any more details of his forebears!! Any help is enormously appreciated.

PALLISERPalliser/Pallister ImagesFirstly, I want to you very much for all the work that has been put into this project. I have found the Pallister family that you have put up but now I need help. Is it possibly to get images of the other Pallister/Palliser headstones in St. Peter's in Rawdon? I have a transcription of the Palliser Burials 1813-1956 at St. Peter's which I believe in the notes section it lists possibly the locations. If anyone is going there to take photos, could they contact me and I could possibly give them this information. I live in Canada and find it impossible to visit England to get these myself. Thanks, Judy

SPINKSThank youThank you for the pics of the Spinks family I requested. If I could make another request from you, as I'm not sure if these are the right ancesters and need the info on the stones to see if that will help me any. Can you darken the lettering on the headstones so I may see what it says. I use a spray bottle of water or sometimes just dirt (then clean off) when I do my pics for others. Thanks a million for all that you are doing. Regards, Karen

BOLTONSt Chad's Uppermill YorkshireI was hoping it would be possible for someone to take some photos of the gravestones in St Chad's in Uppermill, Yorkshire. I have been told that the graveyard is very overgrown, so this may not be an easy task. I have recently discovered that some of my family are buried there. The two I know of at this stage are Thomas Bolton buried May 1871 aged 49yrs and also Ann Bolton (his daughter) buried Nov 1858 aged 7yrs. It is also possible that his wife may be buried there, but she had remarried and was known as Jane Sykes (born Buckley). I live in Australia, so it's not possible for me to do this myself. I would appreciate any help.

TRAYESTRAYES / WEEDEN / HOWARDWhat an interesting service - and a great hobby to have too. It was interesting to see the headstone of someone who most likely is a distant/ancestral relative. If any volunteer in England lives near the historical Howard plot and is willing to take headstone photos there, I would be greatful. I'm looking for Dorothy (Trayes) Howard, first wife of Edmund Howard (father of Kathryn Howard; m. Henry VIII).

RICHARDSONGraves in Peckham, South London and nearbyHello, I'd love to see a picture of the grave of my Grandfather and/or Grandmother, George and Jessie Richardson. They lived in Peckham, South London, so I presume they are buried there or nearby. George would have died sometime prior to 1950, I think, and Jessie died sometime around 1960. I can't be more precise than that. If anyone can help, I'd be most grateful. Charlie Richardson
