BARCHAMBarcham gravestone in Upper SheringhamBrilliant. My greatx4 grandfather. Almost as good as a photo of the man himself. I just spotted another of my great grandfathers too in the Cox section. As soon as the rain stops I'll be out down the graveyard with my camera.

CULPITWhat a fantastic serviceDear Charles. I can't thank you enough for the amazing service you provide. I live and Canada and my sister lives in France. We have been researching our ancestory for quite some time and have traced our family back to the Culpits who lived in Charsfield. I believe George Culpit is my 3rd Great Grand Uncle and the son of my 4th great grandfather, John Culpit born in Suffolk in 1793. Thank you so much for your help. I only wish my bank was as efficient as this!!

ABBOTTABBOTT/MCLEANWhen I first requested an image, I don’t think I fully understood the work and dedication of those who go out to capture this information to allow us to carry on with our research. But having tried to find graves of relatives myself I now realise just how big a resource this site is. With that I would like to add my thanks to Charles and all the people who make this possible. Thank You

WALKERWALKER/GOMERSALLI can only say what an amazing tool you are creating here. Thanks to the information you have gathered on the Walkers in Goldsborough graveyard I have taken my ancestors back to 1728 in the area. I will certainly try to get some photos of stones in other graveyards while I research to see if I can help you expand still further.

HUXTABLEThank-youWhat an incredible resource. I found one of my relatives lying beside her dad and mum. It seemed as if the husband was the last to die and had himself added to the family plot. She is described with her maiden name. I wonder what happened there. Many thanks! Julie Griffiths

MANNERINGSThomas Abraham Mannerings 1818-1895Thank you very much for the image. Thomas was a publican. His wife and most of his children predeceased him. He committed suicide by stepping in front of a train, hence I was a little surprised to see his name on a gravestone in a Catholic Churchyard.

CRABBIEphoto. of grave of Miller Crabbie As far as I know from our family tree all people in Scotland (and some in England)with the surname Crabbie are descended from him despite the fact that most of his many children died so very young,as opposed to many of his descendants who lived to a ripe old age! Any information welcomed.

KELLOCKResearch for a biography - KELLOCK/CREASER/REA/GIBSONI am very grateful for the image I have received of a prominent Totness resident named Thomas Creaser Kellock. I am writing the biography of his great grandson, William Gibson who was born at Lake Mead in Maudlin Rd in 1944. The historical society in Totness has been very helpful and I plan to give them a copy of my book when it is completed (early 2013). It will be called 'The Good Prof'.
