REYNOLDSExcellent resourceWhat a great find this site is. Easy to navigate and simple to request an image, which is sent very promptly. It has helped solve a family tree poser. I for one will be going out to photograph in my local cemetaries to post to the site in the hope it helps other researchers.

LAMBAn invaluable resourceI was lucky enough to find this site recently and in a very short time had been supplied with an excellent photograph which has provided the information I'd been searching for. The project is a huge undertaking and invaluable as a source of information for family research so I for one will be taking photo's to help it grow.

CHITTOCKBenjamin ChittockThanks so much for this, it has given me a sense of heritage and pride in my family line. This is my GGGGG Grandfather and is also the second generation back before Frederick Chittock left the shore of England at Gravesend in 1857 on the 'George Canning' Vessel to start a new life and help pioneer the rugged deep south of New Zealand, contributing to farming the Otago area, a family tradition still playing a major role to this day. Again I thank you very much for this service and wish you all the best in the future of preserving our past. N.W.Chittock

Sutton SurreyHi everyone. I see we have no graves listed for the Sutton Surrey area - just wondered if any one has any relatives in Sutton or Banstead that I could look for a grave for them.

02/03/201058
LOWSLEYAnyone from Hull or Leicester? - LOWSLEY, MACDOUGAL, DARLINGI'm one of Charles's volunteers - I'd recommend it as a hobby, especially if like me you're new to an area. It's amazing how much you learn about local history from old churches. My problem is I live in Surrey, but most of my ancestors came from Hull, Rugby or Leicester and so far no-one has photographed any of their graves. I'm appealing for anyone who lives near cemeteries in any of these places to please donate some photographs to the resource. Also if you add the areas you are interested in to your messages it may encourage people who live in those areas to send in some photographs, and before long we could have covered the entire country!

CHILVERSInvaluable ResourceThis wonderful resource deserves wider coverage and exposure for the quality and coverage that it offers to historians of all kinds, including family historian, to say nothing of the fact that it is preserving for future generations the much neglected and historically important contribution that monumental inscriptions make to the social and domestic story of our island.

OXLEYOXLEY PARKER / COMYNS AND MANY OTHERS - Thank you Just had to say what a marvellous site this is and what a terrific job you are doing. I spend a month in England each year to do some family sleuthing and also to find and photograph old family homes and graves - it is such an honour to be able to do so isn't it? I also clean the gravesites (very carefully and weed & trim etc and leave them a flower. I would be happy to offer you my photographs (but doubt you will want all 1,008 of them!) so will do some more reading of your site and see what I might be able to offer you. Marvelous service - more power to you, thanks so very much. Wendy Corbett Kelley (Sydney Aust)

TRITTONTRITTON BURIAL RECORDS/PHOTOSMany thanks for your quick response to my request, the photo was very helpful. It has however thrown up all sorts of questions, which I hope answers will be found.

BOYCEInvaluable resourceThis resource is invaluable. Just think how it would be if we all did a little bit of the same. As I have sadly found through my research many headstones are being destroyed by the elements or mindless people, records of burials are not always easy to get to see if you live like i do 300 miles away from where our relations are buried, it is sad to think there may be no record of our relations in years to come.

24/02/201042
