LYALLLYALL GRANTThank you so much for your quick response. It was so exciting to find a resource for my Great Great grandfather at your website. Even more exciting to receive the actual image of the headstone. Living in Canada I do not have the luxury of wandering around cemeteries to find my ancestors. Thank you so much for the time and effort you have put into assisting us in finding our long lost ancestors. I will continue to look for my Lyall-Grant ancestors which includes: Grants, Raggs, Lyall, Abernathys, Lumsden, Craik , Farquhar, Brackenridge, Rowe, Strathey, Tadman, Hardy. Thanks a million!

SNOWGravestone photoThank you very much for your useful and prompt response. Elizabeth Jane Snow was the widow of John Elliot Snow so the slightly illegible word is 'relict'. She was born on 10.10.1831 (not 1881)and baptised at Walton Parish Church and died on 14.7.1930 aged 98. .... more

RANSONgravestone imageThank you very, very much for your quick response. It was a good thing that I had read on your site to check my Junk Mail folder, as that was where the mail with the photo went! Your website has solved a mystery for me as I had been unable to find these burials in the Parish records, especially as they were buried in a church some miles from where they lived. Your work has enabled many people to experience that wonderful moment when you find a family grave. Thank you once again your work is much appreciated. This has also given me the incentive to find out how I can help by photographing graves in churches which I travel to on my own searches.

TARPEYRoyal MariesDear Charles I thank you most sincerely for sending photogph of headstone of the wife of my uncle, and information where she was buried which I would not have found without your service. I am a member of a Family History Society and I am sending a letter to the Editor to advise him not only of the the excellent service you are providing worldwide but supplying it also free of charge. I will send photographs of three Royal Marine graves situated in various parts of England which had become forgotten. They are Royal Marines who were killed in Suez crises in 1956 and were buried in private cemetries. Since then their parents have passed on and their graves became forgotton Took several years tracking them down I hope they might be included on your site for future descendants or researchers. Again your help was most appreciated Brian Tarpey
