I belong to the Poppy Trail Trio who are doing a poppy trail in our cemetery chapel at Newton-le-Willows, Merseyside. We lost approx 300 men from the town in WW1 & are placing a poppy cross for each one on the specially made boards in the chapel. Also we are doing a document for each soldier. This is not always easy as so many records were burned. To get a photo of a gravestone from a churchyard so far away from us is brilliant & will add to our folders that the documents are kept in. Thank you so much for providing this. We are very grateful.
