Congratulations on your fantastic website, it is a treasure trove for genealogists as memorials can give so much information. I am researching family name Shearwood, in Lincolnshire, UK. The earliest definite ancestor I have found is Joseph Hiram Shearwood, born 1766/1767 whose memorial confirmed that he was a surgeon. I may have found his father, William Shearwood, born c 1716 in Limber Magna (Great Limber), Lincolnshire, but this needs confirmation. Once again, many thanks for your dedication to this resource.
