My 5 x great-grandmother's first name,Freke has always been a puzzle, but now at last its origins are beginning to unravel.
Just by chance I happened upon this site and I'm so glad I did. Now I am able to widen and hopefully confirm her relationship to the LANE/GRANT/COLCHESTER/MAYNARD families.
