The calculated dates of birth should be treated with caution as in many cases it can be one year out.
The calculated dates of birth should also be treated with caution as the ages given on monuments are often inaccurate.
The names above are all the names that are listed on the grave monument. It is most likely that only the entries with dates and ages are interred in the grave.

I am researching the Smyttan family in connection with a history I am writing of George Hunt Smyttan 1824-c1870
I am researching my Bell family history. I understand that my ancestors were surgeons serving in the British Army in India during the nineteenth century, although I have yet to find a positive link between my grandmother (nee Bell) and her ancestors. I am gathering as much information as I can about the family of surgeons who did serve, in the hope that this will aid my search. Any advice you may be able to give, particularly concerning potential extensions of this family, in that later half of the nineteenth century, would be gratefully received. Many thanks for all you are doing.
My research suggests that my great grandfather, James Thomas Hillen, was the illegitimate son of Frederic Bell, youngest brother of Danderson's Coates Bell. Full details are available on my website.
This is the grave of my great great uncle, Danderson Coates Bell MD. I would like to add this to an article about him on my family website. I have previously requested a copy of this photograph but, sadly, it seems to have gone astray. Please note that the email address IS correct firstname.lastname@example.org. Many thanks, Nigel Hillen
