Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

George and Rosa Squires were living in Clavering Essex 1911-1918, but it is their son Hubert I am trying to find out more of. Village historian Jacqueline Cooper I am helping to research those who died in WW 1 and will be writing a book about the men who died and are listed on the WW1 monument in Clavering. Thank you for reading this, and I am sorry I can not help in return as I live in Australia. Angela

George Squires is a distant relative via my father. Like Angela, I am also interested in Hubert, the son of George & Rosa, who was killed in WWI. I have previously been in contact with Jacqueline Cooper and attended the centenary commemoration service in Clavering in August 2014.
