Born April 1882, one of the eight children of Francis William and Mary Buxton. A farmer and vet who had lived in South Africa and Argentina. Widowed, two children, one died in infancy.

Reasons why the image for this memorial was requested

I am researching the biographies of soldiers who had WW1 private memorials in London Churches and Hugh Buxton has a memorial plaque in Holy Trinity, Sloane Street, London. The address on his army records is Hans Place London tho this may be where his mother lived. His occupation was farmer and vet, so this may be the Norfolk connection. Thanks
