She married Francis Dixon (also listed on the memorial) in December Quarter 1850 in Caistor Registration District, Lincolnshire, England. Francis and Mary had eleven children named Charles (b. 1839 in Irby, unknown if he is actually a son or brother of Francis), Henry (b. about 1853 Cleethorpes, also listed on memorial), Mary Jane (b. January Quarter 1854 Cleethorpes, my 3x great grandmother), Harry (b. Abt 1859 Cleethorpes), Charlotte (b. 1860 Cleethorpes), Betsy (b. abt 1864 Cleethorpes), Fanny (b. abt 1866 Cleethorpes), Alice (b. abt 1871 Cleethorpes), James (b. 1872 Cleethorpes), Jim (b. abt 1873 Cleethorpes, suspect he may be James as they are listed on two different censuses), and Harriet (b. on an unknown date). Mary died in either July 1900 or July 1906 as the memorial was hard to read. |
