I believe that these Cookes are connected to my own family- my grandfather's mother was a Cooke from Aldborough but that family had been millers in Glandford and before that lived in Upper Sheringham.

Most with the name COOKE in Upper Sheringham are related to William COOKE bc1635, dc1686 - his wife Frances and children are buried with stones on the floor by the organ inside the church. Only Henry COOKE in my tree was born 1823 and baptised in Briston.
