I work for Dean and Cauvin Young People's Trust and currently looking into our history (Orphans Hospital Edinburgh, Dean Orphanage, etc). We have a long history of association with the Scott-Moncrieffs going back to the 1700s. I would like to add this photo to our collection. Thank you.

I have a feeling that Mary Hamilton who is listed on the gravestone may be a ancestor of my husband. Mary was the daughter of John Hamilton Receiver General of Customs in Edinburgh. He died October 1832 and is buried in Greyfriars Church Edinburgh.
