She is variously also known as Richenda or Richender. She married Thomas Aldred in 1867 and they went on to have 10 children.

Parents were Thomas Aldred, born around 1802 in Spetchall, Suffolk, and an agricultural labourer, and Sarah Aldred, born around 1808 in Gisleham, Suffolk. Lived in Barnby in 1851. Married Richenda Elliott in 1867 and the marriage was registered in Wangford. had moved to Lowestoft by 1861, where he was a boat owner. He and Richenda had 10 children
