The Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George - Major John Michael Alan Tamplin, MBE, TD. Margate, January 2015. The Chancery regrets to announce the death on 5 January 2015 of Major John Michael Alan Tamplin, MBE, TD, a Silver Benemerenti Medallist of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George within the Delegation of Great Britain and Ireland. Born in 1927, Major Tamplin became a medallist of the Order in 1998. He was for 30 years the editor of the Journal of the Orders and Medals Research Society and a staff member of the Army Museums Ogilby Trust, which serves the regimental and corps museums of the British Army. He will be greatly missed. Requiescat in pace. | ||||||
