Francis Langstaff1889861975 Francis was the oldest son of William and Helen. His wife was named Marie-Elise. He lived in Le Havre between the wars.
Helen Langstaff1861691930 Helen Longstaff was born in Scotland, the daughter of John and Jane Currie. She married William Longstaff at the English Church in Le Havre on 19 April 1888. They had three sons who are all remembered on this grave - George, Francis and John. Their daughter Mary 1896-1967 married Arthur Comyns, and is buried in Forest Row, Sussex, England, next to William's sister Jessie Langstaff.
John Frederick Langstaff1894641958 John Longstaff was the youngest son of William and Helen. He was married to Edith (Editte) Randel and had two sons, William and Philip John, born in approximately 1933 and 1939. He live at 32, Rue Gambetta, Sanvic, next to William's sister Jessie.

William Ramsay Langstaff1857681925 The Langstaff family were closely associated with the foundation of Le Havre Football club the first rugby and football club in France founded by William's father and 15 British expatriates. It is considered the first modern football club in France. The club plays in the colours of Oxford and Cambridge due to the original British players. William Langstaff was president of the rugby section of the club from 1901-1925 and the first stadium in Le Havre was named in his honour. They were married in Poole, England on 16th of June 1884. Nelly's parents were Alfred James and Elenora (Ellen) Boyle Prince. Ellen was from Scotland and her family had immigrated to America in early 1850s. Alfred and Ellen met in New York City, New York in the mid 1850s, and then moved to France to help run Alfred's family's hotel business. This is where Nelly was born. Simon and Nelly were parents of 7 children. Simon died in 1913 while serving in the French Navy.
