London Necropolis (plots 2-4, 72-75) Cemetery, Brookwood
The London Necropolis is the largest cemetery in the United Kingdom. It opened in 1854 and contains almost a quarter of a million graves. It had its own railway connection to central London. This was used to convey the deceased and mourners the 23 miles from Waterloo station in London. This closed during the second world war due to damage during an air raid.
The GPR holds 256 grave and 589 person records for the cemetery.
