St Mary's Church burial ground, Sandwich
An ancient church now in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust and used for meetings, recitals and collector's sales. Not many gravestones remain but there is a good collection of monuments and ledger slabs inside, some of which were covered and could not be photographed. The Kent Archaeological Society has a list of monument inscriptions dating from a survey in the 18th century at http://www.kentarchaeology.org.uk/Research/Libr/MIs/MIsSandwichStMary/01.htm.
