Holy Ghost's Church burial ground, Crowcombe
The Dedication is to 'The Holy Ghost' which apparently is quite unusual.
An engraving shows the original spire is visible. This was apparently struck by lightning in 1724 doing quite a lot of damage.
A remaining piece of this spire has been erected within the churchyard.
It also contains some ancient carved bench ends (which some people seem to 'venerate' more than the real reason for going there!).
The GPR holds 106 grave and 230 person records for the burial ground.
There have been 2797 requests for photographs from the burial ground.
The latest details for the burial ground were added on 18 June 2014
