Bainbridge researchThank you again for such a valuable resource. John Bainbridge maybe the brother of either my 3xGtGrandmother Elizabeth or her father William - I'm hoping this will, eventually, help me knock down another brickwall. It is a shame that the dates aren't more legible but having walked round many graveyards over the years I understand how many have weathered.
Thank youI am currently researching a branch of my husband's family tree and had got completely stuck. This resource has given me some new information that will enable me to pursue this particular line of the family a little further. Many thanks.
If anyone else knows anything about the Bainbridge family of Lindale, please let me know. I believe Thomas Bainbridge, whose gravestone is listed in the resource, may be the grandfather of Jane Bainbridge of Lindael, who married a John Bell but I can't find her parents.
Jane Margaret BainbridgeThank you so much for the work you do. You have helped me twice before and obtaining this photograph has been particularly important for my research. I am most grateful.
Brilliant site.Marvellous website. The images are so clear -I've never been able to visit in person, and doubt I'd take such good photos either! The 'breadcrumb trail'was an added bonus, found some new relatives! Many thanks to all who help here.
Robert Robinson BainbridgeMany thanks for this very useful facility
